Oak Class on World Book Day
To start our new learning journey about Space, Oak Class built a scale model of the solar system. We based our measurements on the Sun having a diameter of 1,000cm, this meant the smallest planet was Mercury with a diameter of just 3.5cm and Earth measured 9cm across.
As part of our learning journey on the Ancient Egyptians, Oak Class designed and made Shadufs which lift water from lower ground to higher ground.
Oak Class spent a wonderful morning working on their Pyramid challenge linked to their learning journey, Walk Like An Egyptian.
